This was an awesome meeting! We have a solid group that is ready to roll up their sleeves and keep moving forward! Everyone spoke about their experience with the art walk and every experience was positive! The purpose of the art walk was to promote LIA (Lakewood is Art) as well as LIA promote Mama and it was a huge success!!! Many people who did not make it to the art walk will remember those businesses from all the publicity and come back another day! Connie's Classics and Coffee Pot already have said new customers are coming in throughout the week!

Subcommittees were formed! In order to make this team effort work we need all businesses working on whatever it is they love to do and happily many stepped forward! Pop shop owners will take on the art walk/events committee. AB Plumbing will work on Membership with me. Donna from Sillouette will work on beautifying Madison with uniformity and new member Leather Naturally will help. Anyone can jump in on any committee or start a new one that they see fit and we will all come together monthly, the first Tuesday of every month at 7 pm to discuss progress.

Holiday Hop is anything you want your business to do on this date to get people in the door and start spending money for the holidays! You can have a sale, a raffle, refreshments, elves, jewelry and other artists, etc. Whatever you want to bring people in to celebrate the holiday season, please email me at cooper2445@sbcglobal.net and I will get it in the LO and any other free publication I can! Bringing them in and out of the malls is our mission! 

Certifichecks were discussed and all that want to participate and accept them like cash please let me know if you haven't!
